Four

Had the privilege this weekend of taking pics of four generations of a family.  The weather has been unusually warm but welcome and it was nice to be able to go outside and take pics with little baby with us.  It's always great to see the joy that a baby brings. 

Children are a blessing from God. I learn that more each day.

Florida

Every year we take a vacation where it's just us and the boys.   We noticed that the families we admire all do this and its played a big part in bringing them closer and especially the siblings closer to each other.  They do a good job in connecting with other people but also in keeping and protecting that family time.   For us the last couple of years its been Florida in the winter.  Where else can you go in February for cheap that 's warm?  This time we booked our flights then found out later why it was so cheap.  We were flying right on Superbowl Sunday an hour before the big game. :) No worries... It was good to get away, leave your laptop behind and turn off your phone.  And time...seemed to slow down.  

2011 Recap

It's been a while since I've posted.  I was just looking back at last year and it has been a fun and rewarding learning experience in photography.   I've grown with each shoot, learning from mistakes and analyzing how I could do things differently...figuring out what works well and what doesn't.    Thanks for all those who have allowed me to capture images of your family and your moments.   I look forward to this year, it's already shaping up to be a busy year (not just with photography).  I've got some new toys to play with as well :)    Here's a look back at pics from some of the shoots last year that I haven't posted.
