Joel and Bethany Wedding Preview

Congrats Joel and Bethany!   What an eventful couple of days!  The night before their wedding, a historic, fast-moving, thunder/wind storm known as a derecho swept through the area.  It knocked down trees, power lines causing millions of power outages.  It actually knocked out the power in the church building where the ceremony was going to be held.   Along with no power, it was also one of those record breaking hot weeks of over 100 degree temps.   The ceremony had to be shifted over to the reception site at Chantilly Bible.  But they all took it in stride and the family worked together to make it happen :)

The kitchen became the command center as all the guests had to be notified of the change in venue.

did somebody say sassy?

You can't tell, but it was more than a hundred degrees out there..
 We were keeping Joel and Bethany in the shade and fanning them to keep them cool.
